Astérix & Obélix Le Combat des Chefs / The Big Fight

During my final year at TAT Productions, I had the incredible opportunity to work on this amazing Netflix animated series Asterix & Obelix: The Big Fight. I had the chance to sculpt and model the iconic Julius Caesar, as well as the new antagonist, Fastanefurious. My work was based on the original sculpts by Andrea Blasich. I’ve always found his sculptures absolutely stunning, so it was a huge pleasure to work from his designs and adapt them for production.

The grooming for these characters was done by my dear friend Ismaël Candelon, and the surfacing was handled by my teammates. I also worked on a few other secondary characters, but these two are definitely my favorites.

I feel like this project brings a breath of fresh air to the franchise, and it was an absolute pleasure to contribute to an IP that is a true cultural institution in France.
