Mauler Twins

Here is my latest project: The Mauler Twins
A few months ago, I watched the series "Invincible" and discovered the Mauler Twins characters. I thought it would be fun to create a realistic 3D version of them, so I tried new techniques and workflows. I used an HD Head Scan from 3DScanStore, which helped me learn a lot. I don't have a good level of anatomy knowledge, especially for strong, muscular bodies like theirs, so I used a Tarik Takasu's base mesh as a starting point. I wanted to keep the simple style of the animated series in the shapes, but at the same time, make it look realistic with the textures and shaders. I like that they're clones because it allows me to show the same character from different angles, poses, and expressions. I hope you'll like my version of these characters, and if you haven't seen or read "Invincible", I recommend it - it's very different from the usual superhero stories.
